Moonflowers

They are the night-time version of morning glories.

Moonflowers only bloom after the sun goes down.  We have some growing on the fence, and I love looking out there before I go to bed to see the large white blossoms, showing off in the dark.

Looks like I'm not the only one who admires them.

  1. Truly a beautiful flower which I've never grown. Are they aggressive in the flower bed?

    1. Yes, they can be. They grow long, long vines so they need to be on a fence or something to support them. They are annual but they reseed themselves here. I have seen hummingbirds on them just at dark. They are worth the effort! :)
