Rogersville, Alabama Fall Festival

Saturday was a perfect day for a festival.  We were exhausted from a busy week, so we went to one in Rogersville, Alabama, not too far from home. Hub loves these car shows.  They are nice, but I prefer new cars. The whole town was beautifully decorated. The East Lauderdale Quilters had a small but impressive quilt show as part of the festival. October is the chosen month for festivals, apparently, and there are so many that it is impossible to attend all of them. There are several more festivals in our area during October, so you still have many opportunities to check them out.

Paint Rock Valley Bluegrass Festival

On Sunday afternoon, we attended the 13th annual Ole Timey Craft & Bluegrass Festival in Paint Rock Valley, Alabama.  My camera rested during the performances, but I did get some photos of the retreat area where it all took place.   They say nothing is perfect, but Sunday afternoon was close enough for me. In addition to all of this, we were able to visit the baby boy. Life is good, and gettin' better.
