On November 7, when we stopped at Jackson Falls on the Natchez Trace Parkway, we met these two fellows. They were from north of Toronto, Canada, and had been traveling for fifty days on electric bicycles that had built themselves. They had traveled more than a thousand miles, and planned to ride to the southern end of the Parkway before heading west to California.
They were working on a documentary about self-sustained living, and were planning to stop in Summertown, Tennessee, to visit The Farm there.
They told us that they were enjoying riding on the Natchez Trace, that people didn't hate them so much on the Parkway.
I just hope there is a big coat packed in one of those bins.
