Solitude. We all need it, but sometimes, it is really hard to find.
Time to turn off our phones, our televisions, the world. Time to rest our minds, think, breathe in, breathe out.
Solitude liberates us from entanglements by carving out a space from which we can see ourselves and our situation before the Audience of One. Solitude provides the private place where we can take our bearings and so make God our North Star. ~ Os Guinness
Most of the time I enjoy my time alone. Popa is hard of hearing and so the TV is too loud for me; I do get tired of all the noise and wish for more time to rest my mind and just talk together.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte, I have to have some alone time every day. I know this is not easy for people who have large families and lots of responsibilites, but it does so much good. We need time to listen to God! wr
