I rarely leave campus on my lunch break. Going to a restaurant for lunch requires a lot of rushing around, and of course, there might not be a parking place when I return.
A short walk around campus provides fresh air and stress relief.
A couple of friends are always ready for a lunch time visit.

And didn't He tell us to fill our minds with what is good and beautiful?

This is much, much better than staying in a windowless office.
For the rest, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things have honour, whatever things are upright, whatever things are holy, whatever things are beautiful, whatever things are of value, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, give thought to these things. Philippians 4:8
You're only here for a short visit. Don't hurry. Don't worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way. ~Walter Hagen

What a lovely campus! Are there really lions? I wonder why??? You are so smart to savor a little break instead of rushing around for lunch. We are hoping for another cool front this weekend here in North Texas and I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteExcellent idea! Relaxation and exercise all in one. Your campus looks beautiful. Is it a large school?
