When we were children we were grateful to those who filled our stockings at Christmas time. Why are we not grateful to God for filling our stockings with legs? ~G.K. Chesterton

When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, Lord, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple. Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the Lord. Jonah 2:7-9
Love the quote you shared-its so true I often over look the blessings that are right in front of my face.
ReplyDeleteIt also reminds me of one of my girls. When she was about 5 she asked me "momma when I drink water what happens to it after my legs fill up?" She thought she was hollow like a doll : )
Love it! I spent some time yesterday reading your blog; girlfriend, we have a lot in common. I have spent a lot of time in the mountains (we have friends in Candler). Love the music on your blog.
